Saved from the renovation of the square by Antonelli, it stands right in front of Novara Cathedral, in the small courtyard protected by the elegant colonnade. The oldest monument in the city, the early Christian building dates back to the 4th-5th centuries AD. Inside, with an octagonal base, rectangular and semicircular chapels alternate and ancient frescoes illustrating scenes from the Apocalypse (9th century) and the Last Judgement (15th century) are still visible.
