Orta San Giulio – The most romantic village on Lake Orta
Considered one of the most charming villages in Piedmont, Orta San Giulio is a perfect destination for a half-day trip during your stay.
Its cobbled streets lead to the splendid Piazza Motta, overlooking the lake. From here, boats depart for the charming island of San Giulio, famous for the peaceful meditative path that crosses it.
On the hill above is the Sacro Monte of Orta, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, surrounded by greenery and offering unforgettable panoramic views.
